P&P: Exercise 20: Busy traffic

From a single figure we move to many.  In this exercise we are to depict a space heavily trafficked, looking for possible patterns in the coming and going.

The image above is the same space from Exercise 18, but seen from above at a later point in the morning when the sun was higher, throwing light through the star-shaped atrium, and the traffic a little heavier.  Had I stayed for a few more hours the numbers of people would have at least doubled, if not tripled.  

I waited looking for a time when people would cross all the points in the cross.  This was the closet I got.
